Holiday cheer arrived early this year when members of Lodge No. 2 participated in LuLu Shriners’ FEZtival of Trees & Lights, where 49 Masonic Lodges and Shrines from Philadelphia and the surrounding counties decorated Christmas trees to showcase their support for LuLu Shrine and the local Shriners Hospital for Children.

In partnership with the Miller-Keystone Blood Center, the Masonic Blood and Organ Donor Program will be sponsoring a blood drive at the Tacony Masonic Temple on Sat., 03-Dec-2022 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. To donate blood, volunteers must register for an appointment online or by scanning the QR code on the attached flyer.

Lodge No. 2 and LuLu Shriners will be sponsoring a Magic Show at the Smoke & Mirrors Magic Theater on Fri., 12-Aug-2022 starting at 7:00 p.m. where you can expect fun, food, and fellowship! A magician and illusionist will be onstage to showcase some of the most thrilling elements of the mystic arts for children of all ages. A meal will be provided in the theater’s private event space consisting of pizza and soda. You won’t want to miss a minute of the action!

This month, we celebrate the 264th anniversary of the founding of our Lodge. We are the oldest lodge in Pennsylvania and one of the oldest active Lodges in the world. For over two and a half centuries, this Lodge has served the greater Philadelphia community, providing friendship and brotherly love to fellow Freemasons and Masonic charity to our neighbors. It has been an honor and a privilege to serve as Worshipful Master of such a historic institution.
