Edward Budman Memorial Blood Drive

  • LuLu Shrine 5140 Butler Pike Plymouth Meeting, PA, 19462 United States (map)

In partnership with the Miller-Keystone Blood Center, the Masonic Blood and Organ Donor Program will be sponsoring a blood drive at the LuLu Shriners Temple to commemorate the life of one of Freemasonry’s most beloved and philanthropic members, Edward Budman. Ed made it his life’s mission to constantly help others whether they were friends, family, or otherwise complete strangers and championed the Masonic Blood and Organ Donor Club as a means to provide life-giving blood to many of the most vulnerable patients in the Greater Philadelphia area. More than simply a vocal advocate for philanthropy, Ed made a point to “walk the walk”, donating 375 pints (47 gallons) of blood over the span of 33 years. To commemorate Ed’s selfless dedication to philanthropy, Lodge No. 2 is recruiting volunteers to donate 8 gallons of blood so that we might finally help Ed in reaching his goal to fill a 55 gallon canister with life-giving blood. Help make Edward Budman’s dream a reality. For more details, consult the attached flyer.
