A Stated Meeting of Lodge No. 2 will be held in Egyptian Hall at the Philadelphia Masonic Temple. Lodge No. 2 is pleased to announce that Dr. Jennifer Houser Wegner - Associate Curator at the Penn Museum of Archaeology & Anthropology - will be speaking to us on the elements of ancient Egyptian architecture employed in our very own Masonic Temple. Dr. Wegner will highlight some of the major sigils, symbols and hieroglyphics decorating the Temple’s walls as well as underscore how the ancient Egyptians were able to craft some of the most impressive engineering marvels the world has ever known.
