Shriners Hospitals for Children: Love to the Rescue

Presented by: Jocelyn & Emily Hoffman

A Stated Meeting of Lodge No. 2 will be held in Egyptian Hall at the Philadelphia Masonic Temple in Center City. Lodge No. 2 is pleased to announce that we will be hosting Jocelyn Hoffman and her daughter, Emily, from the Shriners Hospital for Children of Philadelphia who will be providing an overview of the mission, vision and charitable endeavors of the Shriners Hospital network. Jocelyn Hoffman is an author, teacher and disability advocate who creates a unique educational experience that is interactive and engaging for students and faculties at schools she visits. Her children's books and prosthetics are the tools she uses in her hands-on approach to teach and challenge audiences to accept and celebrate one another's uniqueness. She will discuss the importance of advocating for children with differences especially for her daughter, Emily Hoffman.

Note: It would be an honor if a donation could be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children of Philadelphia on behalf of Emmy's Amazing Hand. Emily has been a patient there for 12 years.

Dinner will be held at 5:45 p.m. at the Masonic Temple’s lower level banquet hall. If you will be joining the brethren for dinner, kindly RSVP to Bro. Anthony Perry by Tues., 28-Mar-2023, via the button below. Although there is no cost to attend dinner, brethren are encouraged to make a nominal donation (e.g. $10.00++) to the Lodge No. 2 Almoner’s Fund in lieu of payment. All proceeds will go towards the relief of worthy, distressed brethren who are currently experiencing financial hardship. To donate, click on the button below:
