On Sunday, July 15, 2018 members of Lodge No. 2 and their families browsed the galleries of the Museum of the American Revolution, enjoyed colonial era cuisine and learned about the founding of the United States in Philadelphia’s newly-minted museum dedicated to the War for Independence and the aftermath that would ultimately give rise to the constitutional republic as we know it today. There, members retraced the steps of the Continental Army from the “shot heard 'round the world” at Lexington & Concord to the climatic Battle at Yorktown. The tour culminated in the display of Bro. George Washington’s tent, which served as the General’s mobile headquarters throughout the war.
