Worshipful Master's Message - March 2024

Each month, the Worshipful Master provides an update on current events in relation to Freemasonry in general and Lodge No. 2 in particular. Please see below for this month’s message from the Worshipful Master of Lodge No. 2.

Brethren,

Hopefully is well with you as 2024 is in full swing.

During our February Stated Meeting, all present were given a card with 5 names on it to maintain contact with those brethren. The vision is to have everyone in Lodge No. 2 involved to strengthen our Fraternal Bond.

There is much happening with Lodge No. 2 in the month of March, from seminars, to community service, as well as traveling to Washington, D.C. to lay a wreath at Arlington National Cemetery at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier on March 15th.

As Lodge No. 2 and other participating Lodges have been communicating with each other to spread the cement of brotherly love and affection, the goal is to share and participate in each prospective Lodge’s activities to strengthen that bond.

Thank you all for the continued support, and a shout out to all the Officers for the work they continue to do to keep improving. In the words of Mark Twain, “Progressive improvement beats delayed perfection.”

All the best,

Peter B. Lavelle, P.M.
