As part of an ongoing partnership with Arch Street United Methodist Church, Lodge No. 2 will be serving food to the homeless via the Church’s Grace Cafe outreach program. Grace Cafe is a faith-based organization whose mission is to provide food and fellowship to the city’s most vulnerable residents. Whereas the Church’s kitchen staff will be preparing the food that evening, our volunteers will be responsible for greeting visitors, plating and serving out the meal, bussing tables and providing an overall memorable experience to our guests. Any interested participants are asked to arrive at 4:30 p.m. at which point there will be a brief orientation followed by the meal serve-out which will run from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. Afterwards, volunteers will assist the staff clean up and reset the furniture before departing that evening. Parking vouchers will be made available to volunteers who leave their cars in the Parkway Garage.
