Worshipful Master's Message - February 2024

Each month, the Worshipful Master provides an update on current events in relation to Freemasonry in general and Lodge No. 2 in particular. Please see below for this month’s message from the Worshipful Master of Lodge No. 2.

Brethren,

Thanks to all who did RSVP for dinner as this helps those behind the scenes to assist you in providing the services needed to keep you all fed during fellowship. Also, keep in mind there will be a charge for dinner for our June meeting. Information is provided online and offline. Also, thanks to all the floor Officers as there was only praise from our D.D.G.M. regarding ritual.

Our January meeting we had the D.D.G.M. speak regarding the initiatives coming from Grand Lodge. As our scheduled presenter was unable to attend due to illness this allowed a few extra minutes for our DDGM to expound on a few points.

As our Lodge moves forward we now have Masonic Outreach Ambassadors (i.e., Brothers Anthony Perry and Lawrence J. Hubert, Jr., P.M.) to maintain contact with our Widows and Significant Others. As our Lodge continues to build we also have a few brethren leading the way and taking advantage of the Master Builder and Master Craftsman Awards. The goal is to keep everyone engaged in attaining useful knowledge for the practice and profession of Freemasonry.
