Worshipful Master's Message - March 2026

Each month, the Worshipful Master provides an update on current events in relation to Freemasonry in general and Lodge No. 2 in particular. Please see below for this month’s message from the Worshipful Master of Lodge No. 2.

Brethren,

For the March Stated Meeting, our Senior Warden will take charge of the Lodge. I have full confidence he will do an outstanding job in my absence.

Since sitting in the East, many things have transpired. One especially meaningful milestone is my wife’s and my 25th Wedding Anniversary this past September 2025. Due to circumstances at the time, we postponed celebrating it. By Providence, however, we will now have the opportunity to renew our vows in one of the grottos near Saint Peter’s Tomb beneath St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican City.

It is a moment long deserved by my wife, who has given her unwavering and wholehearted support to Lodge No. 2 throughout my time in the East. Her patience, encouragement, and understanding have made my service possible.

Brethren, we are all busy. The Lodge keeps us active and engaged in the work of the Craft. Yet let us always remember to cherish and honor the loved ones who stand beside us and make our Masonic labors possible. Take the time to appreciate them, for their support is one of our greatest blessings.

Fraternally,

Peter B. Lavelle, P.M.
