Worshipful Master's Message - January 2024

Each month, the Worshipful Master provides an update on current events in relation to Freemasonry in general and Lodge No. 2 in particular. Please see below for this month’s message from the Worshipful Master of Lodge No. 2.

Brethren,

It is an honor being elected and installed to be of service to you. Thank you for having the trust and confidence in me to be included with those that have faithfully served our Lodge in the past. Our Lodge has a deep and lasting history and its recognition is well known. The goal for the year is to continue to cement the foundation of our Fraternity through building Masonic ties, mentoring, and preparing those that are coming behind us, to carry the torch before us as Father Time marches on.

 This is your Lodge and each and every voice is just as important as those that are in the forefront. As we bring our Lodge into the 21st Century, besides certain Universal Truths, the only thing constant is change. There will be challenges and in order to move forward all of us must work together as a team. If you see a challenge that should be addressed please also provide a solution to be taken into consideration and adjustments can be made accordingly. In the words of Michael Jordan, “Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence win championships.”
