I wish you all well as we approach the middle of 2024 on the cusp of the summer season. To the brethren and their families that have celebrated (or have yet to celebrate) their Masonic birthdays thus far, I hereby thank you for your continued support of the fraternity. As a reminder, our June meeting will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. with dinner to follow at 7:30 pm. Seeing as we’ve already reached maximum capacity for our dinner reservation at Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse, only ticketed individuals that have pre-paid will be seated in the banquet room.

It is amazing how fast the year has gone by so far. We are just about halfway and the fellowship that has already been enjoyed by all. Recently, I was reminded that life is a twinkling of an eye and to enjoy every moment that we have breath. The remainder of the year is packed full with more activities for all of us to build tight fraternal bonds and create memories for all of us to share. We’ve been uploading pictures to the Lodge website with prior fellowship opportunities that have been offered. Thanks to those behind the scenes that make this possible. 

Hopefully all is well with you and yours as 2024 is in full swing. It is such a great joy to see that Freemasonry is alive and well in Lodge No. 2 and within District D and beyond. Several of the Lodge’s in District D, to include Lodge No. 2, have been working together to provide combined activities with all our members…and it is working very well. There is no need to have to venture far to find something to do for fellowship and building fraternal ties.

During our February Stated Meeting, all present were given a card with 5 names on it to maintain contact with those brethren. The vision is to have everyone in Lodge No. 2 involved to strengthen our Fraternal Bond. There is much happening with Lodge No. 2 in the month of March, from seminars, to community service, as well as traveling to Washington, D.C. to lay a wreath at Arlington National Cemetery at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier on March 15th.

Thanks to all who did RSVP for dinner as this helps those behind the scenes to assist you in providing the services needed to keep you all fed during fellowship. Also, keep in mind there will be a charge for dinner for our June meeting. Information is provided online and offline. Also, thanks to all the floor Officers as there was only praise from our D.D.G.M. regarding ritual.

It is an honor being elected and installed to be of service to you. Thank you for having the trust and confidence in me to be included with those that have faithfully served our Lodge in the past. Our Lodge has a deep and lasting history and its recognition is well known. The goal for the year is to continue to cement the foundation of our Fraternity through building Masonic ties, mentoring, and preparing those that are coming behind us, to carry the torch before us as Father Time marches on.
